Exterior Insulation System Installation Begins at the Peoples Bank Building

Insulation boards are secured over a layer of reinforcement mesh.

Work has begun on the Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS) at the Peoples Bank building. This system adds insulation, improves energy efficiency and creates a smooth surface for the façade. Crews are installing reinforcing mesh along the exterior walls to create a strong base that helps prevent cracking. Lightweight insulation boards are then secured across the surface in preparation for the final exterior finish. As this work progresses, the building moves closer to its restored appearance while gaining long-term durability and performance.
