A clock restoration specialist visited the Peoples Bank Building to make final preparations ahead of the return of its historic clock. David Boyd of Boyd Clocks completed a key step by installing a conduit through the exterior wall to provide the proper power supply for the restored clock. This work needed to be done before waterproofing and stucco are completed, ensuring the building is fully ready to support the clock once it is reinstalled.

The four-faced copper clock has been an established feature of the building since the 1930s, and this behind-the-scenes preparation helps ensure it can operate reliably while remaining true to its historic design. With this step complete, the building is now positioned to receive the restored clock in the coming weeks.
