Second-Floor Copper Plumbing is Installed at the Peoples Bank Building

Copper piping installed along ceiling for second-floor water supply. — Copper water lines run along the first-floor ceiling to supply the second-floor utilities.

Crews have begun installing the main copper water lines serving the second floor of the historic Peoples Bank building. These lines are being installed with a modern press-fit system that uses small-toothed compression fittings to create a secure seal, eliminating the need for welding. The plumbing runs along the ceiling of the first floor, forming the backbone of the second-floor water supply.
