Newly crafted Mediterranean mosaic tiles have arrived at the Peoples Bank building, marking a major milestone in the exterior restoration. Recreated from archival photographs, each tile is substantial in both size and weight, requiring careful handling as crews unload them at the site. The bold colors and intricate patterns reflect the building’s original Mediterranean Revival design, reintroducing a long-missing architectural element.
