Plumbing crew members install cast-iron drainpipes on top of the Peoples Bank building.

In a climate where heavy rainfall is common, a reliable drainage system is essential to protect both the roof and the building itself. Plumbing contractors have completed installation of the storm drainpipe system at the Peoples Bank building, including new roof drains. Made of durable black cast iron, the system is designed to carry rainwater efficiently away from the structure. This marks a key infrastructure upgrade in the ongoing restoration of the 1910 landmark.
