Panels Are Installed with Precision on the Peoples Bank Façade

Hardie board trim panels are fastened along the façade.

Crews are installing Hardie board trim panels along the façade of the historic Peoples Bank building as exterior restoration continues. Hardie board is a durable fiber-cement material known for resisting moisture and fire while providing long-term durability. Each fiber-cement piece is carefully measured and cut using a miter saw before being fastened into place with exact alignment.

Workers use levels throughout the installation process to keep each panel straight and evenly spaced, allowing the trim pieces to stack cleanly and recreate the crisp architectural pattern of the original façade.
