Grand Opening Draws Thousands as Cleveland Street Vision Comes to Life
Thousands gathered Saturday in downtown Clearwater—filling Cleveland Street for the opening of The Good Life Showroom, an immersive space presenting the transformation now underway along the Cleveland Street corridor.
The opening marks the Cleveland Street vision taking physical form—bringing years of planning into a space that can now be experienced in real time.
Developed by the Cleveland Street Alliance, the showroom is located on the ground floor of the Water’s Edge building at 331 Cleveland Street. It is designed to guide visitors through the district’s evolution—connecting historic context, current activity and future development within a single environment.
The 1,400-square-foot showroom combines large-scale digital media, a detailed downtown model and guided presentation spaces into a single immersive experience. At its center, a 56-foot LED ribbon wraps the interior, presenting a continuous visual narrative of Clearwater’s past, present and future. A detailed diorama of downtown Clearwater anchors the experience, illustrating the coordinated, building-by-building transformation now advancing across the district.
Additional elements include portrait video stations with directional audio, guest lounge areas and dedicated meeting rooms equipped for presentations and tenant discussions—establishing the showroom as a central hub for ongoing leasing and development activity.
The showroom highlights work across multiple blocks of Cleveland Street, including the restoration and repositioning of historic properties such as the Telephone Building, Peoples Bank Building, F.W. Woolworth Co. Building and Brown Brothers Building—part of a broader effort to reestablish the corridor through a connected mix of dining, retail, wellness and entertainment uses.
The showroom is now open to visitors and will serve as the primary location for presenting the next phase of development along Cleveland Street.
Cleveland Street Alliance is leading a coordinated effort to revitalize downtown Clearwater through a series of historic restoration and redevelopment projects along Cleveland Street. Through sustained investment and a building-by-building approach, the initiative is restoring landmark properties, reactivating the corridor and reestablishing the district as a center of activity and commerce.
