Following preparation of the wall channels and individual reinforcing bars, crews are assembling vertical rebar cages at 623–627 Cleveland Street. Workers position the vertical bars, add steel ties and secure them with tie wire to maintain proper spacing.

Reinforcing steel and ties are positioned along the top of a masonry wall as the cage is assembled.

After the reinforcing bars are placed, structural anchoring adhesive secures them within the existing concrete. The completed cages are then aligned within openings in the masonry walls for the next stage of concrete placement.
