Worker measures and marks a CMU wall opening for rebar installation.
A crew member measures a vertical wall opening with a tape measure and marks the masonry to determine the required rebar length.

Crews are measuring and cutting reinforcing steel at 623–627 Cleveland Street to fit within the prepared wall channels. Workers check the dimensions of each opening before cutting individual rebar pieces to the required lengths. Each bar is sized for its designated location within the existing masonry, allowing the steel to be accurately positioned as the wall restoration progresses.
