Workers are drilling into the existing column footings at 639 Cleveland Street to prepare connections for new wall footings. The drilled openings will allow the new foundations to tie into the existing structure, strengthening the building while providing support for new reinforced masonry walls. This work integrates the existing foundation elements with the new construction planned for the building.
