Following the layout markings, workers guide a concrete saw along the planned trench lines, creating clean, controlled cuts for the next phase of excavation.
Crews use a concrete saw to make precision cuts in the existing floor slab. The cuts define the trench boundaries before sections of concrete are removed for underground plumbing and electrical utilities.
