Second Coat of Concrete Stain Is Applied Inside the Woolworth Building

Crews are applying the second coat of concrete stain to the first-floor tenant space inside the historic Woolworth building as interior work progresses. Workers roll a water-based acrylic concrete stain across the floor, creating an even finish while sealing the concrete surface.

The additional layer strengthens the protective coating, helping the floor resist foot traffic, moisture, surface wear and cleaning chemicals—an important step in preparing the space for long-term commercial use.
