An excavator has begun removing the concrete floor slab from the former 635 Cleveland Street structure, breaking and lifting it section by section. Large sections of concrete are being removed from the site as crews prepare the property for the next phase of work.
Removal of the existing slab is a necessary step before new foundations can be installed. As work continues, the property advances from demolition to the early stages of construction for the building planned for this location.
