Work continues on the 600 block redevelopment project as crews continue removing concrete and demolition debris from the site. The material includes remnants of the previously demolished buildings, including foundation elements, concrete slabs and wall sections.
Heavy equipment is used to load the debris into trucks for removal as site-clearing operations progress. Once demolition is fully complete and all debris has been removed, contractors will begin rebuilding the structures planned for the block.

This work marks an important step in transforming the 600 block into a destination featuring retail, dining, personal services and wellness-focused businesses in downtown Clearwater.
