Controlled Concrete Pour Fills Walls at 629–633 Cleveland Street

Operator controls concrete-pumping equipment at 629-633 Cleveland Street.
A pump operator controls the concrete delivery system as material transfers from the truck into the placement equipment.

Following installation of temporary plywood forms, crews are pumping concrete into the hollow cells of the concrete masonry walls at 629–633 Cleveland Street. Workers direct the flow through a hose while the forms contain the material around wall openings. Careful placement helps fill the reinforced sections before curing, creating solid CMU walls with greater strength and stability.
