Existing Floor Slab Cut for New Storefront Configuration at 623–627 Cleveland Street

Two crew members guide a concrete saw along a marked cut line, separating the slab before sections are broken out.

Crews are selectively removing sections of the existing concrete slab at 623–627 Cleveland Street to accommodate the building’s new façade design and recessed storefront entry. Workers first saw-cut the slab into controlled sections, then break apart and remove the concrete. This measured demolition limits removal to designated areas while preparing the building frontage for its new configuration.
