Crews have installed the indoor AC unit at the Woolworth building and are now connecting it to the rest of the system through additional ductwork. The unit plays a central role in cooling the building, housing the evaporator coils and the fan that pushes air across them to create cooled air. As technicians connect the ducts, the indoor unit is being fully integrated with the outdoor equipment so the entire system can circulate conditioned air throughout the interior. This work brings the building another step closer to a complete, functioning climate-control system.
