Interior Painting Is Complete in the Woolworth Building Lobby

Interior painting has been completed in the Woolworth building lobby, marking another visible step in its detailed restoration process. Crews used a green paint that reflects the building’s historically accurate 1920s color palette. Before any painting began, an acrylic conditioner was applied to seal porous drywall surfaces and improve adhesion, ensuring a smooth, long-lasting finish. The green tones will later be complemented by brass fixtures, creating a striking, period-authentic look for the lobby and adjoining spaces. This phase blends careful preparation with historically fitting design, bringing the interior one step closer to its completed form.
