Creative Office Space Drywall Nearing Completion at the Woolworth Building

Crews apply mudding to the drywall seams in the Woolworth building’s creative office space.

Crews at the Woolworth building are completing the drywall finishing phase in the second-floor office space—a key interior milestone in the restoration process. Each drywall panel is carefully sealed by applying joint compound, which strengthens and smooths the walls. This process fills gaps between panels, conceals screws and fasteners, and creates a seamless surface ready for priming and paint. As the finishing continues, the second-floor offices begin to take their final form, revealing smooth, defined spaces that reflect the craftsmanship behind the restoration. Once complete, this area will be ready for paint and other interior finishes that bring the design to life.
