Crews are rebuilding the back wall at 623–627 Cleveland Street with new concrete masonry units, carefully placing and leveling each block as the structure rises. Masons are constructing the wall course by course, restoring the rear elevation after the previous wall was removed because of structural deficiencies.
The reconstructed wall will provide the configuration needed for the renovated building, including planned openings and the structural conditions required for the next phases of redevelopment.
