Workers saw cut concrete slab for plumbing trenches. — A concrete saw is used to cut sections of the existing slab along planned plumbing routes.

Crews are preparing underground plumbing routes at 623–627 Cleveland Street by cutting controlled trenches into the existing concrete slab. Workers saw-cut along planned locations before removing sections of the floor surface to create access to the area below. The openings will allow new plumbing lines to be installed before the slab is restored as work continues.
