Southwest Entryway Prepared for Painting at the Woolworth Building

Trim pieces are installed to complete the entryway design before painting.

Crews are preparing the southwest entryway of the Woolworth building for its upcoming finishing coat of paint, working carefully one section at a time. Before any paint is applied, the team checks that the structure is properly sealed and that all components match the design specifications. This includes installing any remaining trim pieces and filling small gaps with caulking so the paint will go on smoothly and evenly. By creating a clean, sealed surface, the crews ensure the finished entryway will reflect the building’s 1930s-inspired design.
