Storefront Openings Prepped at the Woolworth Building

Crews at the Woolworth building are preparing the storefront openings for installation using a fluid-applied flashing—a gray, primer-like waterproof coating applied before installation. Using roller brushes, crews coat the full perimeter of each opening to create a seamless, watertight and airtight barrier. This step ensures lasting protection against moisture intrusion and safeguards the restored structure from future weathering.
