Interior demolition at 629 Cleveland Street peels back layers to expose the original structure.

Interior demolition at 629 Cleveland Street had reached its most revealing phase. Crews removed walls, ceilings and flooring to fully expose the building’s structure—an essential step in the renovation process.

With the framework visible, engineers and preservationists were assessing every beam and joint to plan a renovation strategy that respects both the original craftsmanship and the structural needs of the future.

This deliberate approach set the foundation for a transformation grounded in both historical integrity and modern performance.
