A New Steel Framework Secured for the Woolworth Building’s Roof Reinforcement

The structural steel framework inside the Woolworth building is fully installed, completing a major internal reinforcement milestone. The steel skeleton forms the base for a new truss system that will support the updated roof and ensure long-term structural integrity.

While most of the steel was installed manually, the final beams were lowered by crane due to limited access around the rear columns. With the final pieces secured, the building is readied for the next phase of truss installation and roof construction.
