AC Units Are Lifted to the Roof of the Woolworth Building

At the Woolworth building, restoration crews used a crane to hoist new AC units onto the roof as part of ongoing mechanical upgrades. The units were staged behind the building where crews securely strapped and fastened them one at a time to the crane’s hook. The crane then raised the heavy equipment over the roofline where HVAC teams guided it into place. With the units positioned, the next phase of HVAC installation can move forward on this historic landmark.
