Brass hardware installed on the southwest entry doors at the Woolworth building.

Crews at the Woolworth Building have installed brass hardware on the southwest entry doors, adding another architectural detail to the ongoing restoration. The doors, made of glass and dark wood, received sturdy golden push bars and matching hardware that complement the 1930s-inspired design of the lobby. Each component was assembled and fastened securely, enhancing both the function and vintage character of the entryway. This installation contributes to the broader effort to restore the building’s historic aesthetic.
