Concrete Trench Prepping Underway at Peoples Bank

With the first-floor underground plumbing preparation now complete, crews have begun trenching for a concrete pour. The team has backfilled the piping with compacted dirt and installed a grid of mesh reinforcement and upright rebar stubs—key structural elements that will ensure the trench pours integrate cleanly with the surrounding slab. These steps mark the transition from subsurface work to visible rebuild efforts inside the historic Peoples Bank building.
