Restoration work continues on the historic Peoples Bank clock, a long-standing corner feature of the 1910 building at Cleveland Street and Fort Harrison Avenue. A restoration specialist applies cleaning solution to a decorative copper frame from the Peoples Bank clock, removing oxidation and surface residue from the detailed corner element.

The process uses specialized chemicals selected to clean the copper without damaging its historic material. As the surface is treated, the clock’s warm copper tone begins to reemerge, preparing this downtown landmark for its return to working order.
