East Stairwell Demolition and Framing Prep at the Peoples Bank Building

Crews remove old wall materials from the east stairwell at the Peoples Bank building.

Crews at the Peoples Bank building are clearing and demolishing portions of the east stairwell to make way for metal framing. The team removes old wall finishes and excess wood materials to prepare the main stairwell to the upstairs office spaces for a sturdier framework that will shape the restored interior. Once complete, the metal framing will serve as the structural base for a smooth, finished entry leading up to the office spaces—bringing modern strength to the historic building.
