Exterior Lighting Installation Completed at the Telephone Building

Electricians have completed installation of both exterior lights along the first floor and decorative lighting beneath the cantilevered awning of the historic Telephone Building. The work was completed over two days.

The new exterior fixtures echo the curved-arm lighting styles typical of commercial architecture in the 1910s. Positioned to wash light downward across the sidewalk and storefront, they bring back a detail that combines both historical reference and practical and attractive visibility.

The decorative lights, installed according to the project’s lighting specifications, add a soft, ambient glow, illuminating the building’s exterior fixtures. The lighting enhances the awning’s visibility and supports the pedestrian-friendly feel of this 1914 landmark.
