The historic restoration of the Telephone Building lobby included the completion of finish carpentry over a two-day span, marking a notable milestone in the project. Skilled carpenters installed stained oak wainscoting and crown molding in the lobby. The pieces were treated with a custom stain designed to echo the building’s early twentieth-century aesthetic. Together, these elements reintroduce architectural depth and visual rhythm to the interior, reinforcing the cultural character of the original Peninsular Telephone Company location.
