The solar contractor completed installation of the new rooftop solar panels at the historic Telephone Building.

Crews first placed all roof-mounted brackets using a non-invasive “solar stack” system designed to secure the panels without penetrating the roof. An electrical inverter was installed to convert the collected solar energy into usable electricity for the building.

Once the mounts and inverter were secured, the team used a boom lift to move the solar panels up to the roof. The panels were set in place and wired directly into the building’s upgraded electrical system. The full rooftop installation was completed over the course of a week, marking another major milestone in the restoration process.
