A new exterior mural has been installed on the historic 1914 Telephone Building. Using a weather-resistant vinyl material designed to adhere seamlessly to the building’s original brick, the image was applied in six vertical sections. It depicts an attractive historic Clearwater streetscape.

To ensure proper adhesion, restoration teams used a heat gun and foam roller to work the vinyl deep into the mortar joints.

The full installation took three days to complete. The mural now covers a prominent section of the east façade and visually anchors the building.
