A major infrastructure update is now complete at the historic Woolworth building as the wiring for the new electrical service has been installed. This phase of the project included placing new electrical panels and disconnects along the west wall, marking a key step in powering the future of this landmark.
To support the building’s full energy needs, Duke Energy installed a new electrical vault that provides modern electrical capacity to meet today’s building standards.
Following that installation, E-Star Electric successfully ran all new wiring and connected each disconnect to its designated electrical meter. With power connections made, Woolworth is ready to move into the next stages of interior restoration and system upgrades.
