Crews are installing vintage-style tiles inside the Woolworth building bathrooms. The team mapped the layout of each tile, applied a layer of mortar with a notched tool, and set each tile by hand using spacers and a laser level to ensure perfect alignment. Each section of the wall was carefully covered in green tile with black tile trim, matching the period style of the original Woolworth building. The tiles are one of the interior details bringing this historic space back to its 1928 character and add both craftsmanship and authenticity to the restored interiors, showcasing how even the little details can bring together a major historic transformation.
