Roof Decking Installed at the Woolworth Building

Worker installs decking with nail gun. — Crew fastens roof decking with nail guns on the Woolworth building.

Restoration work on the Woolworth building has advanced with the installation of roof decking. Crews replaced the trusses and fastened new decking with precision nail guns, completing the process in just two days. The roof is now prepared to receive a thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) waterproofing system, engineered with a quarter-inch slope per foot to ensure proper drainage and prevent water ponding.
