Roof Removal Advances at 629–633 Cleveland Street

Workers remove gypsum decking from exposed roof structure. — Crews demolish sections of gypsum decking by hand while working around the exposed metal roof framing.

At 629–633 Cleveland Street, crews are removing the severely weathered roof as part of the building’s full roof replacement. Workers strip away layers of roofing material, then carefully demolish the gypsum decking while protecting the original bar joists.
