Finish work continues along the Peoples Bank Building as carpentry staff refine the underside of the roof overhang and its supporting brackets. Technicians apply surface preparation and patching compounds to smooth transitions across the façade, enhancing the visual continuity of the structure’s Mediterranean Revival detailing.
This phase focuses on the underside of the overhang, where triangular roof supports and decorative trim define the building’s historic character. These features, which had been concealed or removed since their original addition, are being carefully restored as part of the broader restoration effort, returning depth and craftsmanship to a structure originally built circa 1910.
