A major piece of equipment has arrived at the Peoples Bank building as crews craned new air-conditioning units onto the rooftop. The large units were lifted high above the building and carefully set into position, marking a visible step forward in the restoration. These rooftop systems will help cool and ventilate the interior spaces below while keeping bulky mechanical equipment out of sight. Once secured on their steel support platforms, the units will bring the building closer to a fully modern climate system—an important upgrade for long-term comfort and usability.
