Second-Floor Decking Is Fully Replaced at the Peoples Bank Building

Carpenters install the second layer of plywood decking.

Crews completed the replacement of the second-floor decking inside the historic Peoples Bank. To ensure a strong, level foundation for the future flooring, carpenters readjusted and leveled the existing floor trusses. Once aligned, they installed two new layers of plywood decking: one as a structural base and another to provide added rigidity and support. This careful sequence creates a stable platform for the upcoming interior finishes.

Additional plywood layer installed for structural strength.

A second plywood layer is added to reinforce the second-floor structure.
