At the historic Woolworth building, steel contractors began installing new structural beams on the second floor, which is a crucial step toward completing the full roof replacement. While the original first-floor steel is being reinforced, the second floor requires a full structural rebuild.

The prefabricated steel columns and beams are being positioned across the interior footprint, setting the stage for future vertical framing and roof assembly. This work represents a foundational step in enabling the building to safely support new mechanical systems.
