Storefront Prepared for Final Paint Finish at the Woolworth Building

Prepped storefront surface.
Storefront surface refined ahead of the final paint layer.

Crews at the Woolworth building are preparing the storefront façade for its final layer of paint, a step that brings earlier restoration work together into a unified finish. With surrounding trim and architectural details now in place, the team is refining the surface to ensure everything aligns cleanly. Crews are sanding down minor surface irregularities and applying sealing material between storefront trim pieces to create a smooth, continuous plane. This preparation allows the final paint layer to go on evenly and consistently, giving the storefront a polished, period-inspired appearance that reflects the building’s restored character.
