Windows Are Seamlessly Reintegrated into the Creative Office Space at the Woolworth Building

Crews at the Woolworth Building completed interior finishing work around the upstairs windows to fully reintegrate them into the space. The process began with installing specially cut pieces of drywall inside the recessed window openings, creating a flat surface that aligns with the surrounding walls. Metal edge pieces were then added to protect the corners and form clean, straight angles. Once that framework was in place, crews applied a drywall compound—often called mudding—to cover seams and screw holes. This step smoothed everything out, allowing the windows to blend seamlessly into the interior walls and helping achieve the finished look of the upstairs creative office space.
