The Southwest Awning Takes Shape at the Woolworth Building

Worker fastening awning frame. — Crews use power tools to secure the awning frame to the wall.

Awning specialists have installed the metal frame for the southwest awning of the Woolworth building, making progress on the entrance that will serve both the upstairs office space and the downstairs retail areas. With the framework now in place, the team will soon add the fabric covering to complete the awning and provide shade and weather protection for the lobby entrance.
