Crews have begun installing new flooring on the upper level of the Woolworth building, creating a durable and clean foundation for the finished interior. The process starts with applying adhesive and setting each floor plank firmly into place, beginning at one end of the space and moving steadily across the floor. As the installation progresses, crew members cut the edge floor planks to ensure the joints stay tight and the planks fit neatly against the walls. This flooring brings the upper-level restoration closer to completion for future tenants.
The floor planks are cut to fit tightly along the walls.
