Clock mounting brackets were installed on the southeast corner of the Peoples Bank building by Boyd’s Clocks, with owner David Boyd assisting on site. Using a scissor lift, the team carefully positioned the steel supports in their original location, ensuring the restored clock can be installed without disturbing the planned mosaic on the building’s face. Each bracket was secured by drilling into the masonry, with screws sealed in place using epoxy to provide long-term stability. This installation marks a critical milestone in preparing for the historic clock’s full restoration.
