Artisans apply hand-troweled Venetian plaster across interior wall panels inside the Peoples Bank building, introducing layered texture and tonal variation through a finish made from natural limestone and marble dust. The decorative surface treatment adds depth and craftsmanship to the lower wall areas, bringing a more historic character into the building’s interior spaces.
Applied in multiple layers by hand, the plaster creates subtle movement and variation across the wall surface while complementing the building’s Mediterranean Revival detailing. The finish work continues to shape the renewed interior atmosphere of the historic Peoples Bank building as restoration efforts move forward throughout the structure.
