Interior restoration work inside the historic Peoples Bank Building has reached a major visual milestone as the structure rapidly approaches a finished interior. After weeks of drywall finishing, sanding and surface preparation, painters are applying fresh coats that begin to unify the restored interior spaces and reveal the building’s evolving layout.
The fresh paint highlights the smooth wall finish and newly defined room divisions while also preparing the space for future trim, lighting and interior fixture installation. With protective coverings still in place around nearby systems and openings, the work reflects the careful sequencing required during large-scale historic restoration projects.
