Decorative Tile Installation Begins at the Peoples Bank East Entrance on Fort Harrison Avenue

Decorative tiles being installed at Peoples Bank entrance.
Tile installation progresses along the east entrance of the historic building.

Decorative tiles are being installed along the east-side entrance of the historic Peoples Bank building as exterior restoration work continues. Tile specialists apply a waterproofing layer to the wall before spreading mortar and carefully setting each tile into place, ensuring the installation bonds securely to the surface.

The square tiles are arranged in a grid pattern that reflects the Mediterranean Revival architectural style of the building. Once complete, the tiled wall will add another layer of historic character to the entrance while providing a durable exterior finish designed to withstand weather and daily use.
